Katama airfield

I can honestly say that in the 29 years of living on the island I never made it to this small and unique breakfast location. Why now? My son is in love with airplanes... He hears them coming and searches the sky till he finds them. Well now we can incorporate breakfast and all enjoy the tradition of Sunday. They open at 7 and I do recommend getting their before 730. Something that would not have worked till I had a little one. If there on time you can sit outside and watch the biplane take its morning test flight. My sons favorite. We watch them open the large wooden doors and the beautiful classic red plane rolls out. It's not long till it is scooting down the grassy runway and up in the sky. We watch as it turns towards Chappy and after a few loops its back on the ground. What a treat. I highly recommend the trip.
